So, this is my first post regarding Mataroi, which is the placeholder name for my conlang.
I’ve devised a plan to attempt to slash the time it takes to learn this. Basically, pretty much every word will be made up of two syllables, with an ‘n’ in between depending on a certain factor which I will discuss later. The first syllable will represent the category and for now I’ll call it the marker; things like consumption, animals, body parts, etc. The second syllable I’ll call the object. It is, well, a word. One of these could mean tons of things. Then, you bring in the category, and BAM, it’s a refined word!
This will slash learning time because if you learn the categories, then you can get the gist of a conversation just based on those categories. Then, vocabulary can be introduced by learning the objects after the markers. Personally, I think it sounds like a good idea on paper.

Also, sorry if I don’t update in a bit, I have a lot of homework I need to do. It should be way better by the 6/6 so I’ll probably update more frequently then.
